Time Is Passing By

The clock is ticking, time is passing by,

Get hold of your life, never let your dreams die.

Live each day to the fullest, be bold and brave and daring;

You only have one chance at life for living, loving and caring.

When opportunity knocks, be sure to open the door,

For if your door is too often shut, knock it may no more.

For a thousand of your good times there will always be some bad,

But they need not bring you down or make you at all sad.

Learn from your mistakes as they happen, but don't ever quit.

If you stop trying, you'll never know just how far you could get.

Make sure as you remember things and close your eyes each night,

You look at your day and what you did in an extremely positive light.

Good friends are priceless gifts that are sometimes hard to find,

So hold on tight when they come along, because they're one-of-a-kind.

Don't ever take for granted the family of which you're a part;

They are unique and special; keep them precious in your heart.

Go slow and take your time as you travel on your way;

Follow your heart, go for your dreams no matter what others may say.

You'll have many precious moments that too soon become the past;

Do things that will make you happy and make memories that will last.

Get your life in order, fly your kite up high;

As the clock keeps ticking, time is passing by.
