The Puzzle People: Memoirs of a Transplant Surgeon by Thomas E. Starzl, MD. University of Pittsburgh Press, Pittsburgh and London, © 1992. Dr. Starzl is one of the pioneers in the field of transplantation. This autobiography documents both his life and the history of transplantation.
